Sleeeeeepy

I went back to work today. It was the first day I didn't have someone with me at all times telling me what to do. It was kind of scary- but luckily my client decided to be nice. I work at a place where I help people with special needs learn how to behave at work. I work with the lower functioning clients so we help them with their hygiene and behavior goals. I don't know why it is so exhausting! I work from 8:45 to 3:15 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and don't really do all that much except walk with my client around the building all day. I always come back so wiped out- today when I got back I went to sleep at 5 and woke up at 8. I missed FHE! I'm bummed, that's the whole reason I stayed here. Oh well.

Anyway, at work I work with the aggressive girls and one of the other clients pushed my client down. I felt so bad because my girl just happened to be in the middle of this other girl's path and got shoved to the ground. Amazingly enough my girl didn't aggress back at her. I was so impressed. She just got up off the ground and went and did the next thing on her schedule. I know if it were me or any of my siblings who would've gotten pushed to the ground, each of us would've bitten someone's head off and fought back. In the words of my mom, "It goes to show that it doesn't matter who you are- you can always be an example." I'm so grateful to have this job and learn from these amazing girls. They had to have been pretty amazing in the Pre-earth life to be trusted with the trials they have! I'm so blessed to be able to work with them. Hopefully I can get to the point where I can skip a nap after work because I don't know if I'll be able to fall asleep tonight! I probably will though because I have nothing else to do with everyone gone.

Also- I got a blanket for Christmas and waited until I got to my apartment to open it. IT'S AMAZING!!! I love it! We'll see if anyone can ever get a turn with it because I don't ever want to give it up.
