Moral of the Story

Today was quite the adventure! Me, Melanie, and Ali went to the D.I. because we had nothing to do. Good thing to do when you're bored, right? Right! So while we were there we saw awesome '80's dresses and so we knew we must try them on and of course- we looked awesome!

There was Mel (awesome Barbie pink shoes):

Then there was Ali (loofah sleeves):

And then there was me:

Aren't our dresses so cute? Well, there was a little problem with my dress. It didn't quite fit all the way. I was way disappointed because I hate not fitting into things so I decided to force it on me- you can't really tell in this picture, but my dress isn't zipped up at all. So when I was done modeling I tried to take off the dress.... It wouldn't come off. I tried taking it down like pants and then off over my head. It was stuck. My upper body was in the way and so were my hips. I'm sure it was interesting for the people walking by hearing me scream as I tried to remove myself from this death trap that I created for myself. I called Mel and Ali in to help me and this is what they saw:

What a pathetic sight..... so I asked them to help me get out of that blasted thing. I'd make my upper body as small as I could and they'd both pull but it just wouldn't budge. We tried everything and it wouldn't move. One time they pulled really hard and I said "I can feel it coming!" Then I screamed. Can you imagine walking outside my door at that moment? It probably sounded like I was giving birth! And it didn't help that my roommates were laughing so hard that they were crying. We seriously couldn't make any progress with it so I was like "Oh man, we're going to have to cut me out of here." Ali then pipes in, "I have scissors in my bag!" She pulls them out and proceeds to cut me out of the dress. Why did she have scissors with her? Weird. In any case... I felt free! Here's the aftermath of the dress:

I can't believe I got stuck! It was so hilarious, I doubt we can have another D.I. experience quite like that. I'm so glad we had a camera so we could document!

Oh- and 30 days.
